I am sad today. Our good friends’ son passed away suddenly last night. Furthermore, S. was married and his wife lost her father to cancer recently. I’m questioning God at the moment. Where are You in all of this? No parent should ever outlive their child.

I’m so sorry to hear about your friend’s son. I can’t tell you the reason behind his death but I can tell you that God is with you all in the midst of this. I have been pondering Job lately and how he lost everything. The lesson I keep walking away with is that despite what happens in my life, will I continue my relationship with God. It is the answer to that question that is important.
I will definitely be keeping you all in prayer.
