It’s All About Me

Hi! My name is Kathy and I’m a writer and photographer.   I’m also a part-time church-goer,  a non-conformist, a burgeoning activist, a recipe developer, a voracious reader, a patron of the arts [which is a fancy way of saying I watch way too many movies and TV shows], a blogger , a cat-lover and a volunteer.

I love the Lord and struggle with loving – and living with – the “religious” among us.  I believe that “going to church doesn’t make you a Christian anymore than standing in a garage makes you a car” and like to think that “if church were a washing machine, I would be the agitator.”  (Both quotes sources are unknown to me, by the way).

Writing has been a hobby, off and on, over the years.  I have been blogging since 2008. I write – and have written – on a volunteer basis for non-profits.  Oh and I also have fibromyalgia.
